Here's a few of my "non-drawing" art, such as paintings, masks, and other stuff that's artistic but hard for me to put in a scanner.

happy.jpg

"Happy"

This is a painting I did of Stinky and Beetle. Stinky is happily waving his arms, Beetle is as happy looking as he'll ever be, and my lack of good paint-mixing skills has made a happy pink tye-dye background. Therefore, I simply titled this painting "Happy".

icharusstateserikslaw2.jpg

"Icharus States Erik's Law"

I made a pen drawing of this first, but I thought it looked so cool that I put it in painting form. This is one of the multiple paintings I had an asthma attack while painting. I had to make a trip to the hospital with this one. Anyway, it's of Icharus dressed up in a Beetle Juice style tux stating Erik's Law: "He who has a bendy straw is more entitled to soda than others". Someday when I die, this painting will be famous.

lobsterboy.jpg

Lobster Boy

My one and only tragic pre-teen circus freak...I give you, Lobster Boy! His origin unknown, Lobster Boy does his job at the circus and just tries to make it through junior high. He cannot talk, and his only friend is a similar looking pudgy kid named Crab. To get an idea of what he looks like, imagine Lobster Boy shorter and fatter with a crab for a head instead of a lobster...

tedthecrazybunnyguy.jpg

Ted The Crazy Bunny Guy

Here' s Ted from my "Institutionalized" comic. He, like Ziggy, is one of the many patients you will find at Brightside Mental Institution. At one point in time he tended rabbits. As soon as he found out that the rabbits he tended were being sold for fur, he went postal. Now he's in the asylum. Poor Ted.

stinkystacoobsession.jpg

"Stinky's Taco Obsession"

Stinky obsessing over tacos. It's what he does best. Title makes sense, doesn't it?

mort.jpg

Mort

Mort is featured in the "Random Gallery" page, if you'd like to know a little about him. I painted this because it was my newest story at the time.

paintingjon.jpg

Jon

Jon is probably my favourite out of all my characters, so I painted a nice painting of him. He looks pretty cool. You can almost here him say, "Peace out. Word to your mum."

jackmask.jpg

My Jack Skellington Paper Mache Mask!

When in summer school, we had to read William Golding's "Lord of the Flies". At some point in time, one character gains a new personality through wearing war paint, so as a project we had to make a mask that represents us. I felt connection with Tim Burton's character Jack Skellington, so I made this mask! Um...he's been crushed a little since then, so he's a little lop-sided...

hooch.jpg

Hooch the DIY Bratz Boy

This is my DIY Bratz Boy, Hooch. At one point in time, I think he was Eitan. Anyway, I found him naked, footless, and with long brown hair at a thrift store. Just for fun, I gave a mohawk, dyed it green, and tattoed and pierced him. I'm pretty sure Barbie's not his type...

hoochspiercings.jpg

Hooch's Piercings

Okay, the flash made it kinda hard to see them, but if you look really close, then you can see his little piercings. He has them in one of his eyebrows, nose, chin, and ears. They're made out of pin heads that have been cut down. Pretty clever, huh?

hoochsmohawksideview.jpg

Hooch's Mohawk Side View

Here's a side view of his mohawk. I made it myself. I cut it with a pair of scissors, spiked it up with hair gel, then painted his hair with spray paint. Yes, spray paint...

hoochsmohawkbackview.jpg

Hooch's Mohawk Back View

Since I've already got a front view of him with the piercings, I thought I'd show off his mohawk with a back view. It's a little side-ways, but it still looks pretty cool for my first non-drawing mohawk...

hoochstattooes.jpg

Hooch's Tattoos

Here's most of his tattoos. As you can see, he has two on each arm and one on each ankle.

hoochsarmtattoos.jpg

Hooch's Arm Tattoos

Here's a better view of his arm tattoos. I like his little barbed-wire looking ones on his wrists...

hoochsankletattoos.jpg

Hooch's Ankle Tattoos

Here's a close-up of his ankle tattoos. They match the ones on his wrists. I'll admit, they need touched up a little...

hoochsbacktattoos.jpg

Hooch's Back Tattoos

Here's another close up of his arm tattoos, along with his back tattoo. Unfortunately, most of his back tattoo has been rubbed off since I first put it on there, but you can kinda get the idea of what it looked like at first.

The song on this page is "Search and Destroy" as performed by Iggy Pop and the Stooges.
